Social Media
SnapChatFor the duration of the youth camps I was in charge of all social media, including their Snapchat. I posted pictures, video, and fun edits to their Snapchat story each day. Many of the campers were able to follow the NDVolleyball SnapChat to see a different view of the camp they were attending.

Instagram was a social media tool I was also encouraged to use. Posting to over 1,200 followers with the Notre Dame name made me feel that each post had to be perfect. The above picture is one of my posts. This post has received the most Instagram "likes" of any @ndvball post to date. This picture was captioned with, "Finished a great high school camp yesterday. Team camp starts today! #ndvballcamp"

Twitter @NDvolleyballTwitter was used as a tool to get campers excited about Notre Dame volleyball camp. Campers were encouraged to follow @NDvolleyball on Twitter for updates about the team especially during the season. Instagram was also linked to the Twitter page so followers can see pictures. The Notre Dame volleyball page has over 4,000 followers that keep fans updated constantly. Followers increased during the camp which will encourage fan following throughout the season.

Projects
Storage Closet
One of my first days on the job I was supposed to inflate 500 volleyballs for the campers coming. These volleyballs were used as a souvenir and thank you gift for coming to the camp. This was a very tedious task. While inflating the volleyballs I cleaned up the storage closet which was an absolute disaster. I could not believe how disorganized everything was with trash everywhere. I spent over 10 hours working towards these volleyballs and organization. |
This is the thank you note that was given to me after the completion of the camp. This was really meaningful and really provided me with some excitement to enter the Sports Management field! I really enjoyed working with the coaching staff and helping the Notre Dame volleyball program.
